Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety and depression can feel overwhelming—impacting how you think, feel, and show up each day. You may experience persistent worry, sadness, exhaustion, or a sense of disconnection from yourself or others. With therapy and practice, returning to a more grounded, meaningful life is possible.
My approach is rooted in evidence-based therapies that don’t just target symptoms, but also honor who you are and where you want to go.

I integrate three proven therapeutic approaches to tailor treatment to your unique journey:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):
CBT helps you recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected and how to change these relationships to help live a fuller, healthier life. You’ll learn tools like reframing unhelpful thinking, adding meaningful daily activities, problem-solving, goal-setting, and many more.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT):
With ACT, therapy focuses on helping you identify and act on your deepest values—even when difficult thoughts or feelings arise. Instead of trying to eliminate discomfort, ACT teaches acceptance, self-compassion, and mindful presence so you can build a life that’s authentic and fulfilling.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP):
Anxiety can get in the way of achieving goals, having meaningful relationships, and living a fulfilling life. Anxiety can include things like fear of heights, worry about doing or saying the wrong things around other people, intrusive thoughts, or constant worrying even when it seems irrational. ERP is a specialized form of therapy designed to help you overcome many forms of anxiety, such as obsessive thoughts, phobias, or panic. In ERP, you and your therapist work together to gradually expose you to the situations or thoughts that cause anxiety, while practicing response prevention—skills that help you resist the urge to avoid, procrastinate, or engage in behaviors that might unintentionally strengthen those fears. ERP is often considered the gold standard for treating anxiety disorders.
Each of these methods has a strong research foundation and works in ways that align with your needs and pace.
